The 3rd ICIIP: Pre-Conference and Workshop

On 23 September 2025, the Faculty of Psychology UMS hosted the third International Conference of Islamic and Indigenous Psychology (3rd ICIIP). We welcomed participants from various backgrounds to this event, but the workshop session was attended by approximately 17 lecturers. We also invited speakers to lead the workshop, including Dr. Nanik Prihartanti, M.Si., Psikolog (Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Indonesia): Workshop on Self-Awareness: “Self-Awareness: Journey to Self-Transformation”. and Dr. Bagus Riyono, M.A., Psikolog (International Association of Muslim Psychologists (IAMP)): Workshop Tazkia Theraphy: “Theoretical Foundations and Practice of Tazkia Theraphy“.

The event ran very smoothly and the participants showed full attention to the workshop material presented by the speakers. This was also supported by the speakers who conveyed the points very clearly and in a way that was easy for the audience to understand. It is hoped that the International Conference of Islamic and Indigenous Psychology will have a positive impact on all circles and raise the profile of the Faculty of Psychology UMS both nationally and internationally.
